I use Millie’s Wolfheart Hunter mix and have found it to be excellent. It even gets 5/5 on the independent All about Dog Food website mentioned above.

Small, hard droppings tell me that most of the ingredients are used and there is a minimum of fillers.

I believe hard droppings express the anal glands more readily and thus is healthier for the dog?

Not feeding Kronch!

Food posts always go round in circles and everyone has their own opinion and thinks what they feed is best, but anyway, I'll throw my 2ps worth in and say try Essential - contact 'Contender' on here to find out about it.

I feed that and raw chicken, lamb, tripe, whatever I can get really, and my dogs have never been better.

So what's changed with Kronch? It was the must feed food not so long ago.

People fell for the bulls##t as always and took a while to catch on to the fact. Same old same old

Never tried Kronch but had a dog on Eukanuba to try it, crap, I got the dog weighed at the vets, measured out the recommended amount and in 3 weeks the dog was a wrickle of bones!! I used the amount to where he put the weight back on and looked good, but the amount of stools was back up and what it cost me to feed him, me, my wife and my son could eat out at the Savoy 3 nights a week!!! Never again.
I have used CSJ tripe or Lamb & Rice during the Shooting season and CSJ That'll Do in the off season, I mix it with beef mince and the odd deer carcass and would be loathed to change.

Good news DR - As a newly found vegan I think you could eat at the Savoy all week, the prices are about half of the meaty stuff!!
Ah Public Image - I still have a single or two somewhere if only I still had a record player.

Pups are on Eden 80/20, its quite pricey but you get what you pay for. Older ones on Eukanuba.

Do they do well on the 80/20 Eden? Nearly changed mine to that but trying another Millies at the moment as was worried the Eden may be to rich.
