British Spaniel championships

Post by westcountry »

Massive well done to Simon Dixon for winning it again. Could not be more well deserved or happen to a nicer guy. I have been fortunate enough to have trained with Simon on a couple of occasions and he has a lovely way with dogs and is in a league of his own. I believe he qualified 5 dogs for this years championships.

Indeed congratulations to Simon. It wasn’t one of his own he won it with though, he was running Ian Openshaw’s qualified dog as Ian was shooting. Nevertheless handling the winning dog takes a bit of doing!

Yes it was Ians dog. But it says a lot for Simon that Ian entrusted him to run it.
