Re: Badgercourt lines
FYI There are straws of a hall of fame dog FC/AFC Brickclose Matchwood who is a Druid son and the dam is Brickclose gaytime. Who breed with Buccleuch Thistle and produced a National champion dog which also placed in 3 other Nationals. If you want to see pictures just google Brickclose matchwood or Thistles Brambles and Briars which is the grandson of Badgercourt Druids grandson who is a National Champion

Re: Badgercourt lines
The last straws from Brickclose Matchwood are gone. He is a hall of fame recipient. Thistles Brambles and Briars has had a great trial career here in the USA. I have a bitch out of Thistle sired by Buccleuch Pepper. Very smart, biddable and quick to learn. Soft in nature she thrives on praise. Has a soft mouth, great pace and love her style. Bird driven.
Re: Badgercourt lines
Hi, could you explain "bird driven" - I have a bitch by pepper who will try it's hardest if she believes there is a bird about but has almost no drive to find one if she doesn't, ie on grounds with a lot of released birds she looks good but on more natural ground with wild birds where she has to hunt for them with no scent incentive to drive her she is not very impressive, put another way she hunts on scent but not for it. I am sure if I had trained her on released birds ie every time she hunted an area she found a pigeon/planted pheasant or run her through a rabbit pen on a regular basis she might have been ok up to a point but I do not have access to pigeons or large amounts of game.
