    `I had trouble with a young dog on New Years Eve, a neighbour let off a serious firework or two, really loud ones, she was a quivering wreck poor beggar. Out picking up on Wednesday, absolutely fine, thankfully, it had worried me a bit.

Many years ago I had an ESS bitch who was terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms but never had any issues with a shotgun. Hunted till she was 13. I assume because I was very careful in how I introduced her to the gun but the other stuff she just encountered on her own and without anything positive to associate them with.
