I am currently looking for a suitable bitch to mate with my Golden Retriever dog Nestor, preferably within Scotland.
Nestor is an excellent working dog with a brilliant nose, soft mouth, and, unusual for a Golden Retriever, a keen prey drive. I am a gamekeeper and I use Nestor mainly for picking up, where no runner escapes him. I am sure that, with proper training, potential offspring would also be great at competing in tests and trials.
Nestor is four years old. He is registered with the Kennel Club (AY0914047). I brought him in from Germany. With a mixed German and Danish pedigree, there will be no inbreeding whatsoever with a UK bitch. I have had Nestor checked for hip and elbow dysplasia, eye disease, and genetic diseases back in Germany and there were no issues. Test results can be produced if required.
I look forward to inquiries from owners of active and keen working bitches planning a litter for the spring of 2023.
