Evening all,
I sold a GWP pup to a couple in Bristol not so long ago and they’ve asked if i can recommend anyone down their way for a bit of help. They’re not working it but it sounds like the 7m old is trying it on with their older dog and it appears to be escalating and getting more aggressive. At a 5hr drive for me they are a bit far for me to go and help myself!
Feel free to DM with details if you’re happy for me to pass on.
Anyone training in Bristol?

Re: Anyone training in Bristol?
Hello
Have they reached out to their vet? To ask if they can have a referral to a dog behaviourist? As many will only accept referrals directly from vets, I know from our searches there are quite a few reputable behaviourists across the Bristol area from when we were looking.
Any good behaviourist will have a waiting list ranging from a few weeks to a few months. We had behaviourist input with pupster and our referral was made early January and we didn’t see the behaviourist until early March.
These are a few trainers I know of from other groups and depending on whereabouts in Bristol the family with pup live these could be doable:
https://townandcountrydogtraining.co.uk/
Lara Sorisi - legacy dog training legacy dog training contact via Facebook and instagram
(The top two are well regarded locally)
There’s also Trustwell Training Southwest via Facebook divides time between Somerset and Newport.

https://themuttyprofessor.co.uk/
Not sure if the couple would be interested in doing agility with pup long term, however I’ve been doing a foundation agility course with pupster (whose self control has needed some guidance!) and it’s made a difference to him. Might be worth them looking into that locally, though I appreciate this won’t necessarily solve the overall problem they have at home.
