Update
Eze is 9yrs old in July....can you believe that ? We are about to enter into our 8th working season..........we have our little syndicate again and I think I have sorted a mid week commercial shoot to beat on, we have done a couple of seasons on this shoot but it's been taken on by a new syndicate/ keeper and I believe that the ground is bit different due to some forestry having been cut down........all will be revealed come start of season 👍

Putting this on here as it's become a sort of blog as the kids say so not sure were else to.post it 🤔.........eze ended up at the vets yesterday as I knew something wasn't right over the previous 24hrs.....turned out to be pyometra, vets were brilliant she was straight in for surgery, rang up 9am appointment 10am surgery and home for 6pm. ...can't argue with that 👍 anyway we had a difficult sleepless night and she was quite restless untill 12 pm today but after various medications as prescribed she has really perked up so prognosis is very good 👍 will report back but I don't think there is anything to worry about as she is a tough old bitch 😁👍

Glad to hear, IPS. We don’t realize how much a pet means to us until some sickness points it out.

Sorry to hear Eze is not well, but glad to hear she's on the mend ips. I am sure she will be getting cuddles galore and being forgiven for knocking everything over whilst wearing the lampshade of shame :)

On top of a whole chapter of disasters here one of mine decided to start a pyo the day I was going away on holiday, she was not popular. Especially after the OOH Vet said he wouldn't operate and charged us just over 200 quid for the privilege of hearing him say it. OG manfully coped and by the time I got back, five days after her op, she was bouncing around like an idiot.

Thanks everyone, she is doing fine. First 24hrs were hard work but she settled down and seems to know that she has to take it easy. Only need the cone at night as during the day she is on the sofa with one us and doesn't seem bothered by her scar, incidentally it must be glued or something as I can't see any stitches and it's not covered 🤔

Ips, the muscle is stitched underneath and the wound pulled together, It may well be glued superficially.
