Re: possibility of working her
Was our first syndicate day today she started off ok..... ish ....beating, and had a few good retrieves for lynn and two for me but on the last drive beating she lost her head and fecked off for two minutes or so in our biggest wood with the biggest cover, I wasn't impressed even though I set off to not be bothered at all about this season (as it may be our last
) but it turned out that I am bothered so on her return from the bog off we had a few words and for the remainder of the drive she was bang on the whistle.
She is ten and half now and we are now in our tenth season but she doesn't half go up a few gears once she is on gamey ground

That’s great IPS, life in the old dog yet!
Re: possibility of working her
Indeed there is PRH she was as keen as she was when she was in her first season

Lynn picks up when I am on a peg, she does a great job, eze works really well for her. Incidentally I had one bird for four shots Lynn and eze retrieved that plus two others for next peg

Re: possibility of working her
Second syndicate day yesterday, I had a good friend as a guest, he enjoyed the day stood 4 of the 5 drives and finished on 4 birds. Bag for the day was 17 pheasant.... incidentally I won the sweep based on shots
...I stood one drive shot at two birds missed two birds
... eze picked up on two drives (retrieved 4 birds) and beat two drives and did very well on both, no beggering off issues like we had two weeks ago
...

All good thank you. Been involved a bit in some days out and helping people with getting dogs going. But largely quiet. Travelling a fair bit.
Re: possibility of working her
Another great day on the syndicate, 13 for 83 shots for the day, I shot 3 for 14. Lynn handled eze really well on two great retrieves on the last drive from long grass and gorse, it was good to watch
