A land line number also gives a good clue as to your whereabouts, easy enough to research on line. With the current spate of thefts this is not a good idea. You also leave yourselves wide open to nuisance calls & Spam, most of us get enough of those without gifting people our details.

Rescue failed gundog
Hi, im looking to rehome a springer spaniel, preferably female, failed gundog dog etc if anyone can point me in the right direction. Have trawled all the rescues but I have children (16 and 12) and work part time (a few hours morning and evening, term time) we have recently lost our precious pup at 10 to bone cancer, she was a failed gundog, we think!
Re: Rescue failed gundog
Hi and welcome, have you tried South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue? Worth getting your name out there too in case anything comes up so contact the rescues rather than looking at their web pages.
I wanted a younger rescue Cocker a while back, there was nothing about so I bought a pup, since then there seem to have been a lot appearing, typical. Persevere I'm sure you'll find something.

Hi, have you tried sites like free ads/ pets for homes too, as I’ve seen a few on there. Either they can’t cope with the energy of some or they are retiring them as they can’t keep up. I find you have to scour through them.

Also if you're on Facebook there are a few dog rescue places advertising on there.
