They look very similar but a bit more stylish. I'm sure they'll do the job perfectly for you & will be very light on the legs, which is one of my priorities - don't see why you should be carting about extra weight before you even step out! I can still get Landmasters but maybe the end of the line.
I've been having this dilemma myself , my aigles are comfortable and not too badly priced to replace , but the neoprene lining does make them a bit warm and they're a bit clumpy and thorns have made them now leak .
I have an old pair of leather lined Le Cham's which are lovely to wear but leak due to age and no way am I going to spend £300+ to replace them .
I have a pair of leather hunter wellies bought at a county show half price , waterproof ,unlikely to be punctured by thorns and great grip , but breaking in is an issue and also getting them on quickly .
So now I have a pair of Irish Setter boots on the way from America 12 inch so they should be ok in shallow water and all reviews I've read say they're comfortable !

I never, ever deviate from Aigles. They're not cheap but they are the most comfortable item of footwear I've ever owned, and I get a pair for christmas every couple of years!
Mike, Nick is after some Irish Setters for work as a bloke he knows got some at the CLA back along and raves about them. He destroys boots for fun and I spend half my life delivering new Dunlops to him at various farms across the region as he's knackered them concreting or something!
Yes indeed, they are light and I can understand why Farmer Palmer would be happy to spend all day in them. But they don't feel as robust or supportive as the Aigles. But at half the price of a new pair of Parcours, I don't mind.
Time to put some new gel insoles in and do some serious mileage in them and report back in the spring.
I have had a few over the years. Agile and skellerup quatro sport have been the best. The Skellerup where more comfortable and my original lasted years, my second pair leak after a year. Aigle lasted a long time are good on flat ground, and look better if that is your thing.
Never heard of Skellerup wellies? I bought a pair of Hoggs of Fife wellies which have vibram soles, extremely comfortable to walk in, no neoprene lining but my feet don't get cold so not an issue. On shoot days I wear leather boots, Jameson's were the best but I can't get them any more so now have Musto, not quite as comfy. Leather boots don't rip on barbed wire and don't puncture in the brambles, bonus!

After I could not get any more Dedito wellies, I searched for a mid range wellie and found Rockfish. So far a year and half in and they are holding up well much like the old Aigles before they became a lottery as to which factory they came out of as to durability. Time will tell if the next pair of Rockfish can keep the quality of these current ones.
