Ergh, is it blinking (being polite!!) fire work season yet??
Little blighters (again being polite) have been letting them off near us and it's not even dark!! So how the hell do they watch the display?? Poor ole Herbie wasn't expecting them so has shot indoors not wanting to play anymore! He thought he had another couple of months yet!!
Little f*** wits!!
I agree with your sentiments! I have two friends with 11 week old pups, who live about 5 miles apart and both pups have had fireworks going off round them, fortunately both have coped, but it could have been so different.
I hate when they start doing crap like that.... what makes me annoyed is give them a few years, when they have kids/pets etc and see how they like it being done in their street......... They would be the first to complain..
Just had some new patio doors fitted, he's done a lovely neat job of fitting them too. I opened them wide this evening to let the air blow through and I spotted a chip out of the frame, had a closer look and saw several chips out of various parts of the door and a scratch down the inside!! Then I spotted a bubble in the laminate on the outside, boy are we going to have a major row tomorrow!!!! He has another door to fit tomorrow, this too is chipped so it wont be going in the designated hole!
What ever happened to quality control?
Judy
aka Fuming from Kent.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.
You sure its not the dogs chewing them Judy.........cockers are like that
Me, Ghillie the Champion, Merlin the Mad. Brittanys were bred as poachers dogs.....They were an extension of the old rogue's arm, trained to look innocent and unprepossessing, all the time plotting, thinking, scheming to make game!
Rascal , nothing wrong with British workmanship, everything is price driven, mores the pity. No quality control, too expensive.
I`ve been involved with carpets for over 40 years. 30 years ago I had a factory visit which included a trip to the finishing room ( where the finished carpets were inspected for faults )
Last year i visited the same factory and when our visit was obviously at an end I enquired why we did not see the finishing room. No one knew what that was and when I explained they said we we keep a watch throughout the manufacturing process and have no need for a finishing room, which explains why 1 in 5 carpets we receive is faulted when 30 years ago we would only have 3 or 4 per year.
