Post by liverandwhite »

Just a quick post for anyone that has a springer bitch they want to breed from and are unsure which dog to use.I saw this dog out training today at it is superb. The dog has pace, drive and style by the bucket full and is the best dog i have seen in a very long time.He is standing at stud at Rytex kennels.

In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

Im sure Ben will be more than happy for Ian if he does well with that dog, I was told that he was smart and worth a look before Opie got his hands on it. Should be worth watching out for.
If it was easy it wouldn't be so much fun.

I find it funny how this gundog world we're in thrives on rumour. I asume next season the dog will be trialled and we'll see how he performs. If anyone can make him shine its Mr.O. hopefully more trainers will follow buccleuch pepper route and make some videos to showcase themselves. I know thats made a big difference in the focus on him as a stud dog, and I think its to everyones benefit as Id guess most who use 'popular' stud dogs have never really seen the dog working.

will be one to look out for next year hopefully.

As a handler, its impossible to make your dog perform better than it is, but very easy to make it perform far worse.

Makes you wonder why he was sold if he is such a prospect, however if he has it Opie will get the best from him.

If he wasn't a "prospect" wouldn't you wonder why Openshaw bought it in the first place?
