Well....if 'Logie game limited' are the new tennants, why would they want to start a gundog training club? and why would they put on a clay-shoot as their open day activity to gundog owners?

In the face of no other data ......... just idly speculating!

I agree, its almost certainly the same people.

Maybe some local enthusiast has persuaded the new owners that it would be good for them in some way to be associated with a gundog club?.........or maybe it would be seen as a potential source of beaters and pickers up?......or maybe a gundog training school is in the offing and they want to attract gundog owners to see the facilities??

We should know by tomorrow - Wendyhubbard needs to give us the info by then, surely??

An estate local to me held a BBQ and clay shooting day about this time last year.No dog training was mentioned but a new keeper had taken over the shoot and he wanted to meet potential beaters and pickers up, quiz them a little bit about their dogs and their experience levels and then ask them along to the shoot.

It was a smashing day. At no cost to me at all I got stuffed with food, semi- plastered and asked to go picking up there ! :-D

I won't be attending the BBQ etc. mentioned here unless sufficient info is provided beforehand. ......... Just in case it's a hoax.

Has anyone heard anything by PM? The OP has been logged in this afternoon but hasn't replied to any of the questions in this thread so I'm beginning to get a little suspicious. (Its me age).
