Just how well is it all policed though?
I realised that afterwards....how hard would it have been for them to add it into the document though ?? They actually send you to that link making you believe that is the most current data, and it is only afterwards when you scroll down you see the changes.
I dont think it will be policed at all. The ABS doesn't go far enough, put stringent checks in place or do a great deal else, but adds more money to the KC bank account
I'm not the biggest KC fan either but at least it is something for ABS - I've joined a while ago. Yes it is policed on the data (I've been checked on) but other checks are few and the buyers questionnaire has never had feedback for me even when peeps have said to me they did an OK for feedback.
But PRA Cord 1 DNA testing, yes that will be interesting - OK I can be smug because all mine are done and all mine are Clear both genes ( of about 60 ESS working lines DNA tested in the UK, I've done about 10%) so we will see who stays and who goes.
The important thing to remember is that the scheme only asks breeders to test. This sensible approach means a breeder with a DNA carrier can still use it in their breeding programme. There is nothing to fear
It took me a while to find he right bit on the website too as, yes, the link is to the un-updated PDF.
