there would be no point in a video of tonights induction training?
I dont have an infra red camera ;)
There was absolutely NO talk, AND no distraction other than the owls hooting in the dark cold sky.
The dog is more likely to be more submissive and close ,in a strange envoirenment? The Vizsla may well scent in the dark?, but it sure does get some basics in place as to 'when' ;)
Heelwork starts here!

Is Bill training Radar for you Robert....................now he has had all that practise with Rosie he's an expert
Me, Ghillie the Champion, Merlin the Mad. Brittanys were bred as poachers dogs.....They were an extension of the old rogue's arm, trained to look innocent and unprepossessing, all the time plotting, thinking, scheming to make game!

Mmmmmmm  If all I wanted from Rosie was an obedient pet dog that walked to heel, sat when told to nearby and recalled well she would be a doddle to train. Because I want an awful lot more - a hunting, pointing, retrieving gundog, she isn't so easy to train .... any "go" she has would get trained out of her if I did obedience stuff first.

I will continue to do " all the wrong things" in order to do things right. ;)
