"What do you do?" Either live with it & get on with her training & accept her for what she is, or if you don't think you can put up with the wittering, then pass her on to someone who will appreciate her. Only you can decide, there is no magic 'cure' that any of us can suggest, especially without seeing the dog & how it reacts to your presence.
As Wullie & a few others have pointed out, it's only 4 months old etc. But I think they would also agree that it's not normal for a pup to be creating a noise at that age, & if it does, it is very likely to continue or get worse. I know that my heart would sink if a pup kicked off so very young. Whether I would get rid of it is another matter. Most 'squeakers' start at an older age, when they come into contact with game (never had a spaniel that made a noise as a pup). The only dog I've had that wittered as a pup - a GSP - carried this into old age, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as what you describe. You sound like you have handled it as best you can & are consciouse about not rewarding it, but you are obviously anxious about it & this could possibly be picked up by the pup. If it is linked to you then it will be very difficult to eradicate. If it went to someone else then it may well disappear, but I wouldn't count on it. I know she is only young but is she getting enough free running, retrieving & outside stimulation to distract her attention away from you? Messing about with an insecure dog can try the patience of a saint, are you up for that? You sound to have lost confidence in this dog, which is, perhaps, understandable, but sooner or later you are going to have to make a decision on your commitment to her. What are you going to do in a years time if she is still the same? It's no help to your dog to have her owner stuck in a state of limbo.

Hi Everyone thanks again for the messages and helping me alot
Please find attached links to some videos on You tube to give you some examples

I think it is a demand for attention and her massive inability just to settle, if we ignore her she finally settles but the minute you move she is back up again trying to get attention.
I had made sure she has been out for plenty of exercise, had the loo and feed etc
I think the solution is to not move or speak all night and she might settle lol
p.s. Wullie I have had training with Nick with my springer and his methods and ways are not in line with my thought on how I want to train

What are you feeding her on, Bakers?

How much exercise is she getting? How much brain work / training? Has she been de-flead, wormed regularly? Do you ever exercise / train, play with her away from Jasper?

I noticed you kennel her maybe she needs a crate for her to settle in whilst in the house having a safe place? I assuming you don't have a crate

maybe I'm reading the vid footage wrong but she looks to me a little anxious not sure what to do with herself.

Hi Judy
She is on beta puppy, she is 4 1/2 months old so not over doing exercise just free playing in the park probably 30 mins at a time, she has been flead and wormed etc, training hasn't really started just some fun retrieves and encouraging her to hunt when out with me.
I play / spend QT with her everynight but jasper is there but he just settles and sleep, she also gets lots of play from my wife and daughter when I am at work..
She has been like this since 8 weeks the only way I can describe it is she cant settle and I cant sit with her all night as I think this will make the issue worse. She will settle if we leave her but as I said the minute you talk or move she is straight up trying to get at you and on the sofa etc.

Hi Nette
Yes she is kennel but we get them in during the day and during the night to spend time with them both and you are right she just doesnt know what to do with herself... I will add she did start to settle tonight after those videos so something in my mind says to me she may start to settle as she gets older and used to the idea that we cant give her all our attention all the time. Might get her another bed but she will probably destroy it lol

I'm assuming that the kennel has a enclosed' safe' sleeping area so maybe she may need a small area to settle while in the house hence my suggestion of a crate for her to go into, my Weimar will try to get under sofa throws she will drag them on to her bed as we don't allow them on the furniture

Having watched the videos my comments for what they are worth are:
With a pup of that age given that behaviour I would be rushing them into the garden for a pee! Classic waddling gait and sniffing the floor. I presume you have investigated this option? Does she have a urinary infection?
Her going for her chew is not causing her pain it is her attempt at doing something to make her feel better, i.e. chewing??
Her unease seems to be directed towards your other dog? She looks in his direction a lot. Is that because she's pleading with him to tell these humans what I need? Or is there some underlying thing going on between them?
When she comes inside does she have her own place - a rug or bed or something so she knows where to settle? Can you bring a blanket in from her kennel and put it on the floor in your living room so she knows where she can lie? And don't let kids (if you have them) pester her on her rug - its her place to be safe in your "kennel"
She is trying her best to tell you something - you just have to work out what it is. She is not being naughty and it doesn't follow that she will do this when working surely? If you do lose hope Pm me and I will try to sneak her in with my lot without my OH noticing!!

She looks lovely.
Nette has posted whilst I was typing - similar vein needs safe place in your house?

This pup has no 'safe zone', and showing signs of having been taken away from the litter early!
Insecurity can come in many ways, the act of 'moan/squawl squeack', can often be read by human,as looking for attention?, when the dog is actually looking for less?
The other dog in the clips ,is also showing absolutely no calming signals to the young pup, which is therefore adding to the pups distress!,looking for a safe zone?..
Over correction behaviour is showing on the older dog, which the pup is picking uo on?>>> adding further confusion in this wee dog,who never invented the tv,mobile phone ,or anything else in a human world!...as it is just a dog!
imo.
One 'TTouch', in the right place at the right time, will settle this wee thing
Oh!..and another> whenyou 'have to bring the pup indoors'?.....leave the other one elsewhere

....for now!
