I have worn Reactolite lenses for many years now and have never even considered that they might be a problem! Thankfully my dogs and others peoples dogs that I walk, haven't made me think that they are either. But if I encounter any problems in the future, I will now whisk my glasses off!

yippee another excuse for Bryn getting sudden hearing deficiency

Doesn't wash though as I have video footage of him doing a perfect left/right with me in very dark shades (I have sensitive eyes dahling) and a silly hat

hmmm ... and purple neoprene wellies several sizes too small?

What I want to know is how you kept the silly hat? If I wear anything on my head - hat or hair scrunchy - a certain not so small pup takes every opportunity to remove them :-D but he has not taken my reactolites off my face yet ...

good point, he never even offered to go for the hat  , or my glasses tinted or not, though I tend to take my glasses off when training/working especially since this thread started

My glasses are on all my waking hours and I can honestly say it hasn't been a problem for Dicey - more likely it is glasses in combination with other factors like voice and body language?

I do wonder though if a dog's interest in reflections is part of it? Schilling was fascinated by his own reflection as a youngster (whenever and wherever he could find his alter ego - to the extent that we gave it a name) - Dicey has shown no reaction to his reflection but is convinced his shadow is a threat and has got very frustrated trying to steal it's retrieve! It wouldn't account for a dogs reaction far away but close up it may do?
