Under water Kinetics they are a divers torch so totally waterproof and seriously bright and they come in lots of sizes to suit all, they do xenon ones lithium powered and LED, and they are made in the uk!

i love my clulite torch http://www.nhbs.com/title.php?bkfno=196 ... tAodOGwAkw - got a great long distance beam or a more general purpose setting to save battery life. I got it for last lambing time and I wouldn't be without it now :-)

I want a torch/lamp that don't go out unless switched off, that throws a reasonable beam, has a handle that makes it reasonably balanced and is rechargeable.
I don;t plan to go under water with it but plans can go wrong.
B&Q seem to have a SENSIBLE supply!

After buying a LED Lenser after seeing the recommendations on here, I will vouch for one of those as well. Reasonably light to carry, the light output is amazing both on wide and focused beam. So impressed I bought a second one for the missus.

Just bought an LED Lenser P7.2 for about £47 i think.

A lot for a torch but very bright and changes from spot to flood very easily and quickly.

Could also happily lamp rabbits with it for a rimfire

Bought a led lenser H7R as advised by other.

Great bit of kit nice and bright but the batteries don't last too long so have to charge it more than expected but is very bright once charged

Thanks for the advice guys :)
