Also being off the ground means I can pipe the waste water anywhere easily. The adjustable feet mean I can get a slope which ever way I want & the removable tray means again that the drain can be front or back. It works for me!
very clever design , I think that could work for almost anybody

Great workmanship & technical skill,

but not sure I wouldn't simply prefer a concrete floor.

...still not sure.

I notice that there is an anti-slip finish, which is good. But I have something similar in the bottom of my glass-fibre boat & I wonder what the result of prolonged contact with pads would be? Mine is quite course & doesn't have any detrimental effect on my dog's feet when I take them fishing with me, but they're only on it a few hours & not moving about much. Will there be more risk of abrasion on an avtive dog living in kennel? Happy to be proved wrong, though.

I'm not sure pad abrasion would be a problem ? I used to have a GSP that spent most of his free time on top of the kennel roof instead of in the kennel or the run. The kennel roof was covered in what I thought was very abrasive tar and heavy grit materiel . The dog suffered no abrasion to his pads at all .

I really should have finished it before I posted this! The anti slip didn't turn out as I had hoped so I am redoing it with something a bit less coarse. It was kind of a prototype to see if it would work. The fence is ok I just put it up, but I wanted something enclosed as a dog has been poisened recently and a few others stolen so wanted something enclosed. It isn't perfect but wanted to try something different. Already had a bit of interest so will hopefully get to try making a few more
