iv the lingfield their only seelands budget range.I use they in the summer if showers are present.they wont keep you dry in heavy, consistent rain.marsh are the newer keeper pants.I wouldnt but lingfield again though.

Sealand stuff, don't buy it, utter shite, doesn't turn water & the stitching drops out.

I am using Pinewood trousers and are finding them really good , hard wearing and waterproof. My other half has bought Fjallraven for hillwalking and she says they are the best trousers she has ever worn in the hills.

I've had a Fjallraven Brenner suit for the last 3 seasons, it's probably the most had wearing gear I've had. The only pain is that it's waxed, reproofing is tedious & it looks a grotty when done.

Pinewood or swedteam, in wet weather, guide fleece wader bottoms under berghaus deluge waterproofs, not much use in heavy brambles but a good combo elsewhere.

I was just about to recommend Pinewood, a well priced brand I'm very happy with. I need hard wearing ones for working the spaniel and these really keep up well with thorns, wet conditions etc. Fjallraven is also a good brand but the pair i got won't cope with spaniel stuff (lightweight super soft but thin) i do use them for training or when just out when not expecting to dig trough bushes and thorns. I'm sure fjallraven got other kind of pants too.
