Maybe because the trialling group isnt for that. Seems some people didn't get the memo. :brickwall: :brickwall:

And Naj they can know what they are talking about all they like, just not on the group. There are other places for those discussions, like here!

The group that Miesque, me and Judy got kicked off wasn’t a trialling group but a group set up specifically to besmirch the reputation of one individual and dogs of certain breeding. ;)

Yeah, they wouldn’t want to hear from people who really knew what they were talking about. :lalala:
Not true, you continually answered questions you weren't asked as I remember.

The confusing part is, having a background in genetics, I was happy to explain better ways of testing to prove what they were looking at was true or false but no one wanted to listen!

Thus is true, for the naysayers, we are now at the state of having a Clumber Spaniel affected by Springer Spaniel disease introduced by a Cocker Spaniel :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:
But everything is ok because a couple of people on a website read by 20 people (I stole that line  )
Who have no first hand knowledge of it happening say
It doesn't go on and it's only "jealously"

After all that money making fuss regarding pure Cockers this appears. Which is basically what a lot of us were saying all along, I even got chucked off one Farcebook group for mentioning the issue on several occasions. Meantime the working side Cockers has now suffered another huge genetic bottleneck which has done it no favours whatsoever.
Its time the KC put a limit on the number of times a stud dog can be used. :brickwall:
And yet Embark are standing by their sibling relatedness test of mallowdale cockers to rosebay blossom in court
Do not think its over :snooty:

As several people have said, endlessly, sibling / parentage tests are completely different to the "guess the breed" tests such as the ones chucked about as gospel and thought by many to prove lots of things. You know, the "my dog is a proven cocker cos Wisdom said so" brigade which has done the breed a tremendous disservice.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.
