I agree, this could be a really good dog. He wants to "go."

Radar was collected by his owner today.
We had decided that a week back home will be good for both Radar and the owner.
We spent some time allowing the handler to get a 'feel', for his new dog!...and show the new way of communication and understanding that suits the dog!...not the owner ;)

Radar ,performed brilliant, and did not put a foot wrong  ...in fact the big guy', actually performed better than I had anticipated :o
His retrieving is with enthusiasm, and his return is ''get out of the way 'I'm coming through'! ...it aint delivery with the sit!?,,,but it is to hand!....so I am more than happy at this stage with this remarkable 11 month old Viszla with a happy nature and a willingness to work and play as if it were one.
Radar, will be doing some basic drills with the owner over the next week, and he will be running in an organised training day event next week with his owner, and subsequent test on that day under panel qualified judges.
He will then come back here for further training on live game, and polish off handling and water work.
As part of his 'on-going', training plan as agreed with his owner Radar will also be coming with me on Grouse counting later in the year !

This will be when we see the 'real dog', (imo)...I cant wait!
missing him already.
.........................................................................................................................................................
Ah well, we have another arrival today! a young springer I done some basic puppy training with when she spent some weeks here learning what it's all about?> She has had a full season under her belt!?....Wonder how she will be ?, and if all these things are still there?> and has she learned more?..and has the handler been doing the same?.......
She certainly knew where she was!!! she went straight to her old kennel
Up early as usual!....looking forward to see how she handles ;)

It was absolutely no problems with this wee springer 'P' to settle in ! it was as if she never left :-D
She knew every bit of the routine and the place!

The weather was crap for filming ie 'pissing it down', but we done a wee bit of basic stuff that most do here on their first day.
I did however, look out her old video footage when she was here as a youngster .
It will be good to compare her puppy training to where she is now?
anyhow here she is last year , I think she was around 9 months old then.
