I've seen him run and shot over him.

I've a pup by him out of Buccleuch Onyx, shaping up nice now at 14 months. Was shot over for the first time last weekend and was commented on positively by a pro trainer with trial experience.
Been picking up a couple of times, steady and quiet even with a lot of birds overhead and running through.
How is HK in the flesh beechessam?

I would imagine that with the dog being made up in Ireland, and then made up over here in only 3 trials, that the dog can do its job.

So there is no point in discussing the merits of any champion dog, because they have all proven they can do their job....

It would be easy for me to say he lived up to the hype because I'm a fan of the kennel or that he didn't because I'm not.
In truth I didn't see enough of him to form an opinion and there are certainly more qualified to pass judgement.
He went well and was under control did his job and had short run. If Ian believes he's worth running, it must be a good dog and now he's made him up in three trials he can't be far wrong.
