Re: New arrivals for training
I've got a Brittany coming in for a few days boarding + training in about 3 weeks time. I already know this one, she comes back only if a hamburger roll is waved in the air at the same time as you whistle ! She's a fat little horror but she cannae half shift .

What fun lies ahead for you and Polmaise
I hope you both post your successes and how you achieved them.

This is 'Anna' the GWP

After 3 days we get a little bit of focus from this 'autistic child'
.....
her previous desire was to either run away or just play with the other dogs!

Her sit/stay ,was about as long as a 'nanosecond'!...but she now retains a bit of calm and attention.

We have even managed a retrieve or two!

Which has helped tremendously with her recall!!!

And a soft delivery to hand.

She has also managed a 'sit' present, with the introduction of a 'nice', command ,which stopped her from spitting the dummy or tossing it.

But!!!! She aint a patch ,on this guy!!!!! who is totally different, and has a completely different personality
