I am Butlerstown Buddys owner now. All good stud dogs produces poor pups and better ones, and so is the offspring from Buddy also - though most of them are good ones. People like to think he has covered loads of bitches - I can tell you he covered 14 in Ireland producing FTCH Sprucehill Teuez - most winning dog in Ireland 2010 along with Clodahill Ian 3 th in last years champs. People who state he is a poor stud dog hasnt looked into Buddy`s record of 14 bitches in Ireland and the offspring from these 14 matings. Buddy has now covered a number of bitches in Denmark, and all are happy with what he produces and most of them are born natural hunters, not pups who needs stimulation on loads of game. Buddy has won 13 open trials and 14 open test - tell me he isnt consistant - what dog has done that in recent time? his fullsister Int. FTCH Poppet Rocket has produced FTCH Hollodrive Theo along with Hollodrive Kurt both dogs used at stud by David Lissett this year - so his bloodline isnt that bad. Buddy is a nice "add on" to some "modern" lines who needs bit more of natural hunting ! Please dont compare Buddy against stud dogs who has covered several 100 of bitches - please have in mind his number of bitches and what he has produced from that number... Buddy is now 9 years of age, and I can tell you he could still compete at top level - all natural - and mute as a church after a funeral ...
