Have you considered that there are competitors going over to Ireland for the Irish championships that might take her for you?

Thanks all. Having talked about it and contemplated, looked at options, talked to the stud owner she is booked to go and packing her bag in anticipation of meeting her beau!

Helen, Yes her boyfriend is running in the champs and I was thinking about that, but depending on her levels she may need mating before then.

She arrived safely and is settling in ready for Christmas with her boyfriend. We used Lenny (greyhound transporters) in the end as suggested, and all I can say is his Van exceeded my other halfs expectations (and she is especially picky about this stuff), she described it like the room with crates that vets have to keep patients in. Very professional.

That sounds good news so far, Yes Lenny and his team are grand lads, and they have vehicles designed for the job and take good care of a lot of dog’s year in-year out .They have a good reputation to up-hold and plenty of experience. Hope it all works out well.

While technically correct if you travel from Cairyryan and have four or more dogs you will need an MAF slip before you will be allowd to board. The office is open 24/7 but you could easily be caught out if you were tight for time.

OH says the van lenny was using this week was much nicer, fully enclosed, like the supermarkets use for home delivery over here, with a galleyway with crates either side, aircon, spotless inside and every crate with clean vetbed etc.
