We feed The Olds it, as its full of sugar beet and gives them some bounce back, however they are getting quite fat on it.
We also feed it to the Lurchers and have clean kennels and happy waggy tails so will keep them on it as well as at £12.60 a bag its incredibly good value for money
However, tried the cockers and spring on it and both were really distracted and I found them really hard to work with it was as if they had never been trained….so put them straight back onto Arden Grange.
But they have recently started turning there noses up, so going to try Kronch for them instead, as hearing loads of good stuff about it.
Can you share what you are hearing about Kronch? Other that Ben Randall I dont know anyone else who feeds it. My Cocker is on Acana no good for springer makes her too wired. I am looking for another food to try on the springer not too much protein.

I was chatting to Graham Tweed (of Kronch) and they are now sponsoring 2 or 3 other trialers and seen some lovely dogs like Alex Sangars, bitch who won at teddelsley that are fed on it.
They are also very well established on the agility and flyball circuit
It is all to do with the ease of converting the proteins to energy and he had me tied up in knots in no time at all lol but hoping for active and biddable dogs as the end result, I also like that its fish based with joint aid in it.
They are of a similar price to AG at £35 a 15kg bag and this is the one Im trying
I have recently started using Kronch and in a short space of time have noticed improvements in the dogs, better coats, holding body weight when worked hard and less waste to clean up. Very impressed with it so far.
Does the fact that a few trialers feed it because they are being sponsored by the company - I'd feed it if somebody gave it to me for free/cheaps - necessarily mean anything other than a good marketing strategy?

What product did he recommend for trialling spaniels
I use Kronch Basic. 20percent protein. Very pleased with it and keeps coats glossy too. Used to feed Skinners but had issues with a dog who had difficult gut problems. Changed to Kronch and never looked back. Nice company to deal with too.

Strange to see how differently they react to the same brand, right? My parents always had dogs and tried to experiment with different foods, but what worked for one dog could be disastrous for the next. They're just like people...
As for rising prices - we are still experimenting a bit with different brands, so we usually check out voucher code sites like www.voucherbox.co.uk as we don't feel like paying full price for a bag we might not even finish...
