The L200 is probably the ugliest of all the trucks - what about the hilux or the Isuzu? Also do you reckon I'd actually be able to fit a folded down buggy (dimensions when folded down -length 41" 104 cm, height 15 1/2" 39.5 cm, width 29 1/2" 74 cm) in the back with a standard canopy with a CAB or similar in the back?

Thanks

The disco 3/4 can fit a pram/buggy in without the need to fold it down, handy if its peeing down.

I've a Ranger and a CAB box and you could get the buggy in as well

Yes we've had albeit a single buggy plus other paraphanalia due to grandparents refusing to keep high chairs, travel cots toys etc at their houses so yes we've had to cart it all about before.
All pickups are similar in size it's just the aesthetics and specs that are different so don't see why the HILUX rangers etc should be any different in the back.

Maybe a pick up with a half width dog box? Then you can fit the buggy in the other side of the back...

If you got a 2005/6 Disco 3 the cost would be about £8K - it would meet all your needs are far more but the consumption would be about 30 so I think the £7k you have left over would more than pay for the extra consumption........
