A stick for our own backs ?
Re: A stick for our own backs ?
An old lady I use to work for, told me a tale about her brother and his Jack Russell. The Jack Russell was fed the same meals as her brother, if brother got roast dinner so did the dog, if it was cottage pie, bacon and eggs, porridge, whatever the dog got fed the same as his master. One day the food got served and the dog refused to eat, nothing would tempt the Jack Russell to eat, the brother ate his own dinner and latter that day was very ill with food poisoning. Old lady reckoned that the dog could tell that the food was dodgy, so did not eat it.
