I'm going to try the Italian thing of suturing the bird up this year - when they do it with chickens the whole thing puffs up with air and skin is incredibly crispy. Yum!

Come dog sitting for us next summer and have some really fresh sea food - raid the freezer for the pork! Bring your dogs of course!

PS Talisker Distillery is walking distance in the village but you have to pass the pub first - local beers and ales from the Cuillin Brewery - you can do some research for your day job.

You're on!!! Send me a PM if you're remotely serious!
cheers,
Alice.

We will be grazing on king prawns, lobster tails, dressed crab, frutti di mare, gravadlax and smoked salmon. The only thing to cook on the day will be the scallops, plus some of those part baked baguettes. My hatred of cooking is matched only by my hatred of turkey and sprouts.

Bottom half of a very well hung haunch of venison - top half is already cut up into inch thick steaks. It will be slow roasted in our range and accompanied by roast pots, roast parsnips, roasted vegetables (onions, garlic, peppers, field mushrooms and courgettes) and a thick rich red wine jus.....
