I'm sure recoil would be considered as he shoots at least 3days per week from the 12th August but he doesn't consider the extra 4 grams necessary, unlike the guy I shot with at Whitfield a few years ago who was shooting 50 gram 3 at pheasant without anymore success than my 28 gram 6.ips wrote:Do you know if he chooses 28 because he considers they pattern better than 32 or is it recoil related. ?pontbeck wrote:A friend loads for a local Lord who is always included in the countries top shots He shoots Eley VIP 28 gram 6 through open chokes and is a pleasure to watch.
