What's your favourite colour? mine is black!

Sarah

I have always had blacks, but I have to say, if I kept one it would probably be a yellow. I thought it would make identification easier when working two

I have never had the experience of having pups around and it is amazing! :50:

I always enjoy the first 4 weeks but by the end of the 8th I`m pleased to see them go.
We had a litter while my eldest son was studying for his A levels. He was upstairs studying ( so he said, more likely on the phone ) when my wife and I had let the pups have a run around the kitchen before we went out. I told him to give them 5 mins then put them away. He forgot ! and was called downstairs by a knock on the back door. When he went into the kitchen the pups had messed in several places, pulled the table cloth from the table and proceeded to clean the floor with it. At the back door were his aunt and uncle who are not dog lovers in any shape or form. When he opened the door they took one look at the devastation and made an excuse and left.
While he was cleaning up the mess he received a phone call from Granada tv telling him he could not take up the prise he won on Blockbusters ( A weeks photography course in Scotland , the following week ) as the hotel hosting the course had been burnt down that day. They say sh... for luck, he doesn`t` think so.

I have only owned blacks, I do like Golden but think Foxreds are gorgeous..... Think it depends on the dog more than the colour....

They sound wonderful! I have only had chockies and I have to say that current yellow pup is a revalation as he is so calm, may just be the dog rather than the coat but chockies do have a bit of a reputation. Have to say that fox red are very popular round here at the moment but having been in a beeting line when a gun 'mistook' a chinese water deer for a fox Im not sure that I would want a 'red' dog on a shoot :cursing:

Fox red is the way to go ! Never really had a preference til I got Holly ( though never fancied chocs )
Now a confirmed fox red fan. They do darken as they get older - Rosie is as dark as Holly now
Holly - Big damp nose and waggy tail
