Yes, its a good food. I do wish I could get it in 15 kg bags though. 12kg is just too small. This was the reason I changed to Kronch. I liked AG but not at thaty price for12 kg.

I don't feed Arden Grange now but you can get 2x12kg for £54.99 from www.swellpets.co.uk/‎ which I think is a reasonable price.

I'm not such a fan of the Arden Grange Chicken. Not sure why, but just doesn't seem to be as good ? Anyone else find this or a reason for it ? Is lamb simply a better protein ?

Simply didn't sit as well with my dogs, but then one of my GSP is a sensitive bugger. The foods fine I was just asking for a reason why it would sit better with my dogs.

Transferred both of my pups off AG junior (which is chicken) to AG adult, which is also chicken but fresh chicken. Neither dog liked it when put on it, Keely in particular became quite loose. After checking the ingredients i realised the junior (which suited them both fine as young pups) had a higher proportion of chicken meal as opposed to fresh. They're both now on AG adult premium which again has a higher proportion of chicken meal as opposed to fresh chicken, and they're both happy on that and elements of raw too.

Edited to add: fresh as opposed to "meal" means a lower actually proportion of meat because it's measured before being dehydrated. Not sure if that was the reason for both pups not doing well on AG adult - less actual meat.

AG Breeder bags still come in 15kgs and are cheaper than the 12kg bags, if you can find someone that stocks it.
