Benson loves being with us.He gets fed at the same times as we eat.Watches T.V. with us of an evening.Loves the X Factor and I'm a Celebrity and all that sort of stuff. Can't imagine sitting watching telly on a Saturday night without Benson curled up next to us.We used to have a cat in the early nineties that would rock back and forwards when the music for blind date started on a saturday night.Great memories.
Subjecting animals to X factor, blind date and I'm a celeb has got to be animal cruelty!!!
Oh forgot that part, don't think it matters at all for training, working or competing. A slight benefit for me having the youngsters indoors being able to train on details, like delivery etc, moreva lazy thing.
My 3 live in, I have a double kennel with attached run outside which they quite readily accept as and when we need space. I personally think it builds a better bond having them around me as much as possible and have never found that it has an adverse effect on working ability, but each to their own. They follow me everywhere (literally)!
Both! All are in for first six months then out into communal kennels. However, they come in when in season, after operations, for any treatments, after hard days work, if they look a bit sad... etc
We do have four children as well as the eight dogs so not all of them enjoy coming in during the day... in fact, I don't always enjoy coming in during the day...
