Fair enough. I can only base my opinion on what I read & less than a month ago you seemed to be struggling to find game for the dog. But if you're confident that the dog has developed reliable steadiness since then you know the dog far better than I do.

Didnt mean to be clever or undermine your experience Naj,I hope Ive read my dog correctly. I may not have done due to my inexperience and you may well be correct and entitled to say I told you so when it all goes t*ts up. If it does I will be totally honest about it and be happy to eat humble pie and seek advice on how to put things right. I like this young dog,he is hard ,fast and strong yet has a real desire to please.
