Very kind offer, I have the Joe Irving one but could not relate to it. Not heard of the other what's his method as in positive or not.
Hi Ips, erlandsons is old school and therefore not entirely positive, that being said that just relates to corrections etc, a lot of the methods on getting the dog to perform behaviours do not involve running the dog down etc

Erlandson is worth a read just in virtue of it being a good read full stop. It's less of a training 'manual' as such. Ditto Headley Millington's 'The Cocker Man', but that's like absolute gold dust to get hold of. I have a copy but it's not going out of my sight.

I have plenty of DVDs (Edward Martin, Buccleuch, Hawcroft, Openshaw) I'd be happy to lend though, Ips, as long as you PROMISE me they'll come back (and I won't have to stalk you for you to do so!)
cheers,
Alice.

Its no problem honestly, I have read it and I wont need it in the future I cant relate to it so it may as well go to a good home. Just bung a couple of quid in a dog rescue charity on my behalf next time you see a collection box and I am happy.

Thank you so much! Are you sure you don't want a few wings for Eze's dummies in return?
