I can only apologise. for the weather',,,it really has got me 'pissed off' :brickwall:
The training day would be of no use', in weather such as we have had , or is 'forecast', for this coming weekend.
I have been on the ground, and it is no good for shooting, let alone ', training on live game? there are even some dead birds 'buried in the snow'.
I will keep posted as and when the weather breaks.

Its been that bad here that we have seen pigeons drop out of trees.
If it was easy it wouldn't be so much fun.

Hi Folks,
Due to the adverse weather conditions, the day was postponed!
The new date has been arranged, for January 15th (Saturday).

The training day will take the form of a 'simulated' Field trial for both Retrievers and Spaniels.
We will also be training on 'Walk up', type format and standing gun', so should also suite Beater and Picker Up,with 'Any Breed'.

The ground is varied with a mixture of crop, and woodland, all easy walking.
This will be ideal for those with a young or less experienced dog to be introduced to the field,or those who have had experience, and would like to 'iron-out', a few problems encountered ?.

I will contact by pm those who have shown interest already (once again sorry for the change of dates, due to the weather)
I will also 'bump', the thread up in the New year', in case some are on Holiday?

There are still a few places left for both Gun and Handlers.

Hope you all have a Happy New Year!
Robert

Naw ah'm no deid yet, ah'm still considering my options !

I'm supposed to be picking up on the 15th. I'm also supposed to be going to the cocker championships . It's gonnae be a busy day for me !

Think I'd rather go to your game training day Robert , it promises to be better fun than those other two things !
