Brittanys are like that..................fully trained to ignore you
Me, Ghillie the Champion, Merlin the Mad. Brittanys were bred as poachers dogs.....They were an extension of the old rogue's arm, trained to look innocent and unprepossessing, all the time plotting, thinking, scheming to make game!

He is clearly a labrador.
I thought about saying, dead pan, "A dog", but instead I said "A labrador", while thinking where do they get these people from...
She then informed me "He can't be a labrador, he's too skinny to be a labrador. He must be mixed with a collie ..."
Another one whose Labs can't possibly be pedigree, as they're far too skinny. Some years ago, when I only had Indie, I was walking her on Hob Moor in York and came across a very large overweight chocolate Labrador dog, who could hardly walk let alone run, followed by his owner who wasn't in much better shape. She wouldn't believe me when I told her Indie was a pedigree Labrador, she pretty much accused me of lying, as Labradors are known to be fat!
It's not just becasue they are labs; "she's fat 'coz she's been spayded". "yeeeeees" says me, "did you know all guide dogs are 'spayded' and they aren't fat are they....."
Beat this then, me and two friends where training the dogs in the local park field, and living in wales my village has about 20 people living in it and they all know i got a gsp and hunt. So we were doing some dummy work and had i think it was about 7 gsps and 2 vizslas with us when 3 police cars turned up telling us to stop what we were doing. It turned out the police had a report from some holiday maker passing through the village that a hunt with hounds where starting. I wish people would mind there own business, But i could go on all day as i meet a lot of people being a stairlift engineer, so i see a lot of grippers with dogs. The best one is, " i feed him the best, cesar and mc vities".
