Thanks to 'ALL'.

The training weekend is now Full. There will be another very soon I will keep you informed.

For those that received the 'Information Pack', I am sure you will agree, that it is designed to ensure you and your dog get the most from the experience on the day,and with a structured plan in a more 'Professional manner',to move forward with your dog.

The 'Template', should also ensure no 'hanging around', for your turn!..and a alot more than 'just some-one throwing a dummy for your dog!'

Over the weekend will provide some of the best training ground in the country, with all the training aids available, from Bumber Boy ', to bolting rabbits.

It is the 'Launch', of this New Club 'Central Scotland Gundog Club', which has at the very heart', The purpose of 'Training and Developing Gundogs and Gundog handlers'.

See you all on the 5th/6th ;)

Robert,

I have already completed the boxed sections under each heading (in pencil). Actually, I made some general comments about my dogs performance under each heading.

BUT reading your post above makes me think I may have slightly got the 'wrong end of the stick'.

Is the purpose of the comments boxes to more quickly focus the trainer onto the perceived weakness (by the handler) of their particular dog and thus save them both time in analysis on the day?

If so, then I will alter my comments to make them less general and more specific in terms of weakness under each of the headings and maybe also reduce the number, confining my input to what I think are the most important one or two under each heading?

Cheers, Terry

Hi Terry,
The Training plan is a 'suggestion', a 'start point', if you will?...You will see it is a 'generic', form that fits 'all breeds',
Yes..it is meant as a 'focus', on each individual handler and dog strengths and weaknesses, as i said in the info pack ,each individual handler can add or delete as apropriate?

As always 'your input', has been 'instrumental', in its concept! ..so I would value an appraisal', following the weekend', where the Club', can 'tweek', or modify going forward!
;)
