I do like your videos and learn more by seeing and indeed listening to you, than reading, so hope you get a camera boy!

You can teach a dog alot ,by doing nothing!

It's pointless saying No,, if it doesnt know what No means?

Thanks for all the private comments ;)
I am sure Betty is one of lifes saved dogs.
Who was typical insecure showing aggression, and had no social skills with either dogs or humans?
It's not the dogs fault, and it aint the owners fault? (they just didn't know ;) )...not knowing something doesn't make stupid, or irresponsable!...in fact,it makes the owner more responsable,by seeking advice and training for the dog.
Anyhow, She gets collected tomorrow for the 'first day of training'!
I will also video this.

Betty will miss you very much. I went for a walk with a German Shepherd this morning who used to bite people and other dogs, but has now been rehabilitated, there were six dogs altogether, this dog ignores my GSP but does 'bully" my Lab at times, who takes it on the chin. I could see similar behaviour in Betty and think it is all part of the breed behaviour.

Has been lovely to watch Betty on her little journey, hopefully with the owners on the right track things will continue to get better.

I hope so to but you have got to wonder why some people take on specific breeds. Some people are almost guarantee's to fail with some breeds because they just dont have what it takes to make a dog a sociable acceptable part of society!! I have my sisters terrier coming here for 2 weeks as she is at her witts end and one to ones in a church hall fighting and arsing around isnt working with a so called trainer!! he is coming here to live in a pack enviroment to learn the social skills a dog has to learn to get on in life!! All the dogs I have had here living with me from aggressive staffies to ex police dogs to terriers to wayward bog off spaniels badly behaved labs and hyper cockers to name but few have all ended up being perfect in this house!!
My Attitude is based on how you treat me!!

my heart goes out to Betty, she's such a lovely dog
I hope she goes on to have a good life.
Well done Pol, maybe she wouldn't have had much of a chance without you.
