Like the others - thanks for posting the videos up they're very interesting! (You'd have a field day with me & mine![]()

I'm watching this last batch in turn and after the first part I have a question for you:
At about 7 minutes in the dog is stopped on the whistle (but I can't hear the conversation at this point!).You get the lady to reapply the whistle & apply more pressure on the dog moving closer before throwing the retrieve. Was this because the dog's gaze wasn't fixated on the handler?
I'll watch the others shortly![]()

It is best to watch them one at a time ,ask questions ,then the follow on!!
The dog (and handler), were both trained/training', to a scenario, of 'remote helper', in this situation ,all be it 'intentionally good'?, that by aiding in the training, 'I will throw the dummy for you'??? , what had happened was the dog was 'taught', and learned ,that the reward came from the 'remote helper' not the handler? In the part you are asking , 'I am installing', a change in direction of focus , away from that 'remote helper'( in this instance the 'camera man'), of which you will notice throughout, the dog still has, a fix', for? but by 'continuoly, not rewarding, from the 'remote helper/camera man', the reward is achieved ,if the dog 'fixes on the handler ,for the direction'!
Hope that made sense?
