The dress code at trials is going downhill in my opinion. There are too many of the top men who should be setting the example looking like they have just rolled out of bed or not even made it to bed! IMO you should dress like you would for a shoot day.

I was very surprised to see one of the top men dressed in a boiler suit a couple of years ago when doing a spaniel presentaton at the CLA.

PS Nice to see Anglo American relations are back on track!

8 mins of some american vet talking about someone else :snooty: I meant a video of a US trial for spaniels, ideally one our US contributors could point ot as being typical of what whe've been discussing. theres a lot of crap on youtube about collar training etc. I dont want to get the wrong idea ;)

As a handler, its impossible to make your dog perform better than it is, but very easy to make it perform far worse.

After 1942 I would hope so. I have walked out my back door when I woke up and seen birds during hunting season. I was in my under shorts :-D . Shot my 2 birds and went back in for coffee. I wonder what they would think of that. :snooty:

Up to the same stereo typing as usual.LOL. I have never heard of this guy or any one he talks about. I am sitting with a pro trainer next to me and he has not either. He is a producer of a hall of fame dog and a National champion, handled dogs to 2nd place finishes in the Canadian National and the US, along with another 4th place finish all in Open all age. He has made countless champions and been in the game for 33 years. He does not know this guy or any one in the video. I will work on that video, but it will take time. They basically do not exist. Camera men are not even allowed at the line. It is all about the dog. and his handler. Distractions are not tolerated. As said you will not find any on youtube. I am at a trial for a few days starting tomorrow and ending on Sunday. Once I return I will take the video up town and see if someone smarter with computers then me can figure it out. Real wild bird hunting videos I can help you out with. A good hunting dog is more important here then any title. As said earlier, all it is is a game any how.....
