We will all remember "Dax" who so often played a part in these stories.

I read here 8 years ago that he needed a retirement home and within a week he was living with my friend.

Sadly, after a long and happy retirement in a family home, Dax went over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this week.

Thought it worthwhile to mention to so many people who 'knew' him and Wullie so well.

Thanks for the update, I have to admit I had forgotten about Dax it's been so long. How old was he?

I understand that he was about 15. He was retired without his papers, so I couldn't just be 100% certain.

Thanks Strathcraig, always good to hear the end of a story, good to read that Dax enjoyed a good retirement and long life,
