Don't worry Judy, on Thursday someone will post a picture of a happy cat and the referendum will be forgotten...unless it is wearing a Union Jack collar, where upon it will be instantly `disliked' by 3M usersI dunno but if you believe some of the stuff the young have put on Farcebook we're all doomed, Mr Pontbeck, doomed!
Brexit? Leave or Remain?

We are certainly not doomed but I fear another recession until we gain stability. Watching and listening to those who have voted ,on both sides, I ' m convinced we need to set up an IQ test before we allow people to vote.Judy wrote:I dunno but if you believe some of the stuff the young have put on Farcebook we're all doomed, Mr Pontbeck, doomed!pontbeck wrote:How bad has it been ?

Did you see the girl that voted to leave but was now upset and wished she'd voted to remain.
Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
There seems to be a few of those. I respect everyone's right to vote as they see fit, not quite so much for those who want to change their mind because they didn't understand or they believed Nigel Farage was really going to put £35m a week into the NHS and now he says it's a mistake.David wrote:Did you see the girl that voted to leave but was now upset and wished she'd voted to remain.
We got what was voted for, suck it up and get on with it.
Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
I feel there were a lot, on both sides, that were unable to make a considered opinion . The most persuasive spin doctors have got the result they want , for whatever reasons
I take exception on your comment of "suck it up and get on with it " We are all entitied to an opinion and free speech , a decision has been made and must be accepted but that doesn't stop conjecture and discussion on that result.

My comment wasn't aimed at you rather the people changing their minds. No offence was intended. Sorry.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
Well there certainly has been a shake up in the shady halls of power hasn't there? Hilary Benn sacked! Corbyn facing a revolt. Shuffling for position now for the hot seat. The question must be asked, who will it be? Boris? Liam Fox?
I think the instability and uncertainty is now due to the tenuous grip that the leaders seem to have on control and leadership, and little to do with leaving the EU.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
The referendum has been divisive to both the leading political parties. This was obvious long before the vote , the die was cast and whatever the result there would be major political posturing from within both parties. Leaving the EU has lost us confidence from the financial gurus and the infighting within the parties has exacerbated that loss.
Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
Twas bound to happen. So glad that Farage is being sidelined and Boris seems to be settling for a back seat. Corbyn was always out of psynch with his parliamentary party. And we need leadership that will heal the rift in the country as much as navigate our way forward.

Horrid reports emerging of racist confrontations from a small minority towards "foreigners" since the vote - all along the line of you'll have to **** off home now, we voted you out.
