Post by Teddy »

I've just had Harry Dna tested for Fuco and Pra cord 1, both clear/normal. What a relief

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Fuco is such a rare disease, hardly any dogs that are tested for it fail.

I was more concerned about his eyes, but the KC recommend the Fuco so I had the two done together at a reduced price!

Fuco is really rare but the dogs which have tested as carriers are from common working/trialling lines

Thanks all. I had the tests done by the AHT, from taking the samples to getting the results, all done in under a week. Great service.

As Harry is clear. would that mean that the DAM is most likely clear??

Sorry Jim no. The DAM could be a carrier and some of the litter also.
