Hello from North Yorkshire

Post by TotalBeginner »

Hi everyone

I've been looking at this forum for some time and found lots of helpful advice. As user name suggests, I had no experience of gun dog training before becoming the proud owner of a flatcoat, nearly three years ago. It has been a steep learning curve and, although we are nowhere near where he could be if he belonged to someone who knew what they were doing, we have definitely progressed (though not very far by professional standards!). Nevertheless I am enjoying exploring what we can achieve together.

When I've worked out how to do it I shall post a photo of him!

Thank you for all the welcomes. I can't work out how to post a picture but my daughter has managed to set up my avatar so you can see a picture of my beautiful, but independently minded, flatcoat.
