Summer Training

Post by Polmaise »

Central Scotland Gundog Club
Summer Training Programme. 23rd May – 15th August
Every Wednesday Evening 7pm -9pm
Trainers : Robert Johnston (Polmaise Gundogs) , Bill Thayne (Trekmoor) + guest trainers
All breeds, all levels of dogs and handlers.
All dogs must be 0ver 6months old, no bitches in season
This programme will be run like a ‘season ticket holder’, system where your place is booked for the whole 3 month season, if you cant make some of the evenings then your place is still secure.
With different Trainers the class group is easy split for different levels and requirements.
Throughout the season a varied selection of training aids such as remote launchers, bird launchers, bolting rabbits ,water disciplines, obstacles, live and dead game along with starting pistols, and a variety of different dummies will all be supplied, in an environment that you and your dog are pre-paired for.
So whether you are just starting out, or have been active in the field, or you are of the ‘show dog’ circle and want some fit for purpose? Or you just want some socialization and activity with your gundog.
This is a ‘one handler, one dog placement’. If you have multiple dogs however, you can bring one at a time to any of the evenings.
There is no provision for spectators or partners.
Costs: CSGC Members Season Ticket £ 100
CSGC Members Single visit £ 15
Non Members Season Ticket £ 120
Non Members Single visit £ 20
Payment: Send cheque to, Patricia Templeton, Treasurer, and Central Scotland Gundog Club.

I will try and get some images of the training,of which I am sure all attending are gaining something ;)

I know tonight is the last night and I'm gutted that I can't make it
but
Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the CSGC people who organised this over the summer period.

The Trainers(Polmaise(for holding it all together),
Trekmoor and Stalkinscot + Guests) for their time and commitment,
The Secretary(PatriciaT) and Stand-ins for keeping us informed
and the Landowners for allowing us use of their land.
