The picking up team first day of season

Well took the team out for the first time on Saturday, mixed Partridge & Pheasant day 150 bird.
The little girl in the middle is my youngster just 18 months, she got her first pheasant retrieved, which was a blind back retrieve into the hedgeline you can see in the back of the picture, she did me proud. they all worked thier socks off in what was some difficult terrain, lots of briars to try and get through and some distances to travel to get birds up on some very steep banks.
They earned their supper thats for sure. Sorry pic of Blossies first retrieve is a bit pants but the best i could do on my phone, whilst trying to keep an eye on where birds were falling...............I was multi tasking
