Hello to you all,

I`m new to this gundog malarky. Used to go beating lots as a nipper and throughout college.
Decided to get a lab last year to pick up with.
We are both still in training, only downside is moving to Devon and I can`t find a trainer to help us. The trainer from Hampshire was great.

Welcome to the forum. Whereabouts in Devon are you roughly? One of my puppy buyers lives down near Bideford and has found a good trainer apparently.

There's Mell Brooks in the Liskeard area of Cornwall, not sure how far that would be from you?

I second that. Steve Kimberley is a very good trainer. He is in Winkleigh in Devon. I have been to several of his training weekends and they were brilliant.
