Dont worry the following looks worse than it is -- this young dog destroys heavy cover especially briars for fun incredible power and stamina -- all the blood a result of small cuts to ears but takes more than a few cuts to stop this chap... He is recovered and ready for a trip to west of Ireland this weekend in persuit of woodcock :)

The real deal - thank's for sharing. Love the look of your springer minus the blood.

Cheers Liam -- I like the look of your dogs in profile picture. I seem to have gone down the road of dogs with solid coloured heads which I really like but might be time for one with a blaze now I see your two very nice...

Hepe couple of pics of him cleaned up for you ;)

I wish I had a photo of mine when he hit some barbed wire, he tore his shoulder and was covered but did no care one bit! There funny things dogs, looks like they had fun!

He's lovely. I'm a sucker for big dogs with heavy markings and heads like a dustbin.

This is my pup Thorn at just shy of 4 months

This is his dad FTCH Saturns Spirit

And this is my old dog Badger who I lost last year. RIP

As you can see there's a bit of a theme going here

The one the left in my profile pic is believe it or not a cocker :o and the one on the right is a ESS but he's just small
